Lines can be created with certain trees, lines up and down can create excitement, and organization.

So the softness of the grass, and the sway of the dogwood create a powerful dynamic for the 3 Boxwood's in the center.

Combining colors to create a certain look can be good, but be careful not to mix the wrong colors :(

Simple bed shapes; some people don't put to much effort into good bed shapes, but done right they can be an excellent addition.

A Landscape Designer must pay close attention to the colors of the home... they can make or break a design.

Architecture of a home is important... landscape design must take into account how the house is put together. Landscaping shouldn't overpower the homes design.

Multiple Colors can sound good, but can create confusion in the design.

Textures in can look good, if there placed properly.

Some designs are simple, but can be stunning.

More complex, doesn't always mean better, unless its done correctly.
