Landscape design in huntsville al

A "normal" process is set way of doing things that produces a certain result. Here at White Shovel we have a process for creating incredible front yard landscapes. That process consist of 3 site visits, photo representation ideas, that show what the design will look like, and a layout on paper that shows where all the plants will be planted.

Huntsville Landscape Design

Lets review the steps...

Landscape Assessment: This is where a designer gathers information about what you're looking for in a landscape, as well as details about the area at which the design will be installed.

Photo Design: This is where the designer returns to your home with an iPad to show you the area designed several different ways for critiquing.  This is a key step in the process because it allows you to go over the design and look for things you prefer over others.

Landscape Plan: This appointment is where the designer returns to your home to present the plan that you chose on the Photo Design appointment. This part is where you review the plan, to verify that the changes were made in accordance with your specifacations. Also on the plan there will be an exact price for installation, as well as options for smaller or larger plant sizes, to accomidate your budget.

The importance of a good Landscape Assessment

Plans are a very important part of any undertaking, I think we would all agree that building a house, or any structure without plans could be disastrous.

Constructing a landscape is no different, you have to consider a lot of angles. Landsacpes are living pieces of art, constructed around man made homes. This being the case a designer needs to take into consideration lighting, drainage, the architecture of the home, style and colors preferred by the client, soil conditions and much more.

The tough part is in order to create an cost estimate for a client, a designer needs to know what is being priced out. That means that he or she must come up with a plan.

A doctor, before administering care to a patient, must conduct an assessment of the patient. That involves asking questions, and digging a little deeper in to the issue.

A Landscape Assessment is conducted on site with you, a White Shovel team member walks around your property with you asking questions, and digging deeper into what your issues are, and also what your looking at getting done.

So whats the cost for the process?

Well before technology came along, landscape designers were forced to use pencil and paper, and spend long hours measuring, and putting even the smallest plan together. This large amount of time was being passed to the client, which meant a landscape plan could cost anywhere between $1,000 to $4,000.

The White Shovel process is all digital, which means we can get a landscape installed at your home, on a photo without every getting the shovel dirty, and although it still takes work, and time to create a photo design, a landscape designer can produce several designs in a day through the help of computers.

This drastically lowers the cost of designs to you!

So to answer the question, a landscape design can be completed for $300, and we offer incredible deals on this as well throughout the year through various online providers, for as low as $49.

Angie's List, Living Social, Groupon, and many more have teamed up with us to bring you these great deals.
