Drip Irrigation; is only a drop in the bucket!

Important Information

Unlike your typical jet head, or mister head irrigation systems, a drip system delivers water to the roots of a plant right when they need it.

Drip irrigation for your landscaping also uses less water then your traditional system, and the water is more directed to where you need it.

Drip Irrigation 1 0 1

So maybe your confused, you might say, "My landscaping already has an irrigation system." If you already have irrigation you may not need a drip irrigation system as well.  Some times when you are redoing your entire landscape you might want to update your old irrigation system. In this case you could have a drip irrigation system installed instead.

So how does the drip system work?

So a drip irrigation system can be hooked up to your faucet on your home, and employ a automatic timer that doesn't leak to activate the water during the hot days of summer.

Each plant in your landscape than receives a small drip head. This head delivers a very small amount of water to the plants roots. This head is fully adjustable so that plants that need more water can get the drink that they need.

What about benefits?

There are many benefits to drip irrigation systems. One of the ones I like the most is; there are less weeds coming up, since there is less water being wasted on area's of my landscape that do not have plants growing in them.

There are other really great benefits too like, being able to water in the middle of the day with out burning the leaves on your plants.

Because the drip irrigation system is buried under your mulch, the water can be delivered to the plant in the heat of the day. Also there is less evaperation since the water line is run under the mulch.

Landscaping doesn't have to be difficult, a drip irrigation system can be installed in your landscape for as little as $699.
